Photos are one of those rare items that become more valuable with time. I don't think anyone really realises just how fleeting all the different moments in our lives are, and when we do I can guarantee that we wish we had a photograph to take us back to that moment.  Investing in professional photography ensures those moments are beautifully documented, allowing you to relive and share cherished stories with loved ones for years to come.

what to expect when working with me


I like to keep things laid when I'm photographing others. To me, it's all about having fun, making memories with the people you love most, and getting some great photos to look back on. I’m all about giving a little direction instead of making everyone pose - we all need a bit of guidance when the camera is pointed at us!

Below I will walk you through step by step of what it looks like to work with me.

Get to know me and my style by having a good look around my website and socials. This will help you to get a feel for my work and give you an idea on what your final gallery may look like.

If  ready to book your photo session please head on over and complete a contact form,  be sure to include as much detail as possible!

Please note I have only have limited availability each month, so I recommend booking in nice and early for maternity and newborn sessions (second trimester is a great time).

3.

Lock it in 


Once we have sussed out a date that works for both of us I will send over the paperwork. I require a signed contract and $150 retainer to secure your date.

4.

get planning 



Every family is unique and so their photo session should be planned to suit them! I will send a questionnaire for you to fill out which will  help me get a feel for you guys.

I send out my handy client guide that will help you get ideas on what to wear and locations I like to shoot at. If you need more help I am only an email or text away!


5.

SHOOT DAY 


It’s finally our day! During the photoshoot, don’t worry if you don’t know what to do. It’s my job to direct you so you don’t feel awkward or uncertain. Let’s have some fun and enjoy the moment. 


6.

GALLERY DELIVERY 


Within 48 hours, I’ll send over a few sneak peeks to get you excited! Your full gallery will be ready in about two/three weeks, but I often deliver sooner when possible!

Frequently asked questions

HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?

Once you have made the decision to book you can contact me via my contact page to find an available date. Your session will is only locked in when the contract is signed and non-refundable retainer is paid.

Payment plans are available on request. 


WHEN TO BOOK FOR MATERNITY/NEWBORN PHOTOS?

I recommend booking during your second trimester - the sooner, the better to save your spot!

Maternity sessions I scheduling between 30-34 weeks. At this stage your baby bump is beautifully defined and you’re still comfortable enough to move around. This timing also ensures you’ll receive your gallery well before your little one arrives.

Newborn sessions are penciled in for 7-14 days after your due date, with plenty of flexibility if your little one decides to arrive early or keep you waiting a little bit longer.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I am based in Geraldton but am more than happy to travel around the Midwest. Travel fees will apply for locations outside of a 50km radius from my home.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR EDITING?

All Packages are edited in my own style, think creamy pastels meets film look. I edit mostly in colour with the occasional B&W image. I will NEVER alter the way someone looks as I like to keep things natural, we are capturing you how you are! 

Maternity, Fresh 48 and Family Packages include: Basic blemish removal.

Lifestyle Newborn Packages: A little more editing is involved for newborns such as removing flaking skin, milk pimples or any little belmishes. Please let me know if you would like these details left in!


RAW files are never released.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?

You will receive a link to your online gallery with all edited photos within 3 weeks (depending on the season I photograph your story it could possibly be faster).

Newborn Packages may have a longer turn around time as the editing generally takes much longer.

CAN WE GET MORE PHOTOS?

Absolutely! Additional images may be purchased seperatly for $25 each or alternately you can upgrade to the full gallery for $250.

WHAT DO WE WEAR?

I send all my clients a helpful guide to make choosing your outfit a breeze! 

You want to all work in together with out being completely matching. I love neutrals, earthy tones and texture! 

I have also collected some beautiful pieces in my client wardrobe you are welcome to borrow.

WHAT IF WE ARE SICK?

With Covid 19 making all our lives just that little bit more stressful I have found the need to add some info just in case! 

I never want to cancel! Finding a date that works for both of us to postpone to is always the first priority. 


IF YOUR SICK - Let me know ASAP, we can reschedule! Please let me know 24hrs before or there may be an additional retainer fee. 

IF I'M SICK - I'm human too! If I ever feel I will be unable to do a session you will be informed ASAP and a suitable new date will be made. 

WHAT IF WE CAN'T RESCHDULE?- The retainer fee paid to secure your session date is non refundable. Anything paid in addition will be given to you in a voucher to use at another time that suits you.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

Reschedule on this one is at my discretion. Some of my most favourite photos are taken in stormy weather! The lighting can do amazing things right before or after rain, plus it adds to the adventure! However I don't want my gear getting soaking wet so leading up to the date I will be keeping an eye on the weather and if I think its looking apocalyptic then I will contact you to reschedule a new time.
